Thumesha Jayatilake is the founder and director of ArcticTern Immigration Consulting. She is a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) and a member of the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC), which authorizes her to assist clients with their Canadian immigration applications, represent them and offer advice. Thumesha has firsthand experience of being an immigrant herself, which gives her a better understanding of the needs and desires of her clients who wish to immigrate to Canada.

Apart from her work in immigration consulting, Thumesha is also a PhD candidate at the Sprott School of Business at Carleton University in Ottawa, and she lectures in Management. She has a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura in Sri Lanka, a postgraduate certificate in Human Resource Management from George Brown College in Toronto, a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Sciences from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura in Sri Lanka, and a Diploma in Immigration Consulting from the Academy of Learning in Toronto. Before moving to Canada, Thumesha worked as a management consultant and lecturer in management in Sri Lanka and Brunei Darussalam.
